Tag Capture: We capture every tag found in each opened drawing or document file, recording the tag numbers against their corresponding document numbers.
Manual Validation: While many automated tools are available for capturing tag relationships, their accuracy can be limited by the quality of source documents. Therefore, SPGS manually opens each file, ensuring that trustworthy tag relationship data is prepared for our clients.
Tag Classification and Validation: After capturing valid P&ID tag names, we begin the engineering tag classification process. If necessary, we perform data validation against equipment lists, line lists, and instrument indices, comparing and validating naming conventions for different tag types during the indexing process.
